#Wandering with the #Bills 2017

#Wandering with the @buffalobills! Check out the upcoming schedule to plan your trip.

UPDATE: Now includes NHL games!

Here’s an early look at the Bills 2017 schedule and other events that you might be able to catch in the area. Check back after the NBA and NHL schedules are released to catch late season trips!

JetsSept 10 – vs NY Jets at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Week 1 Season opener at home! Head back to Buffalo to kick off the season against a division rival. Start the weekend early by heading north to catch the Blue Jays hosting the Tigers at the Rogers Centre or spend your Saturday at Syracuse in an early season non-con against Middle Tennessee State at the Carrier Dome.

carolina1Sept 17  – at Carolina at Bank of America Stadium

Carolina is not known for College Football – and this week proves it.  North Carolina A&T plays at Charlotte at Jerry Richardson Stadium. Utah State visits Wake Forest at BB&T Field. Baylor visits Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium and NC State hosts Furman at Carter-Finley Stadium.  That is one ugly slate of college ball.

denver1Sept 24 – vs Denver at Ralph Wilson Stadium

The UB Bulls host Florida Atlantic at UB Stadium or head to Canada for some baseball.  The Yankees visit the Blue Jays.

atlanta1Oct 1 – at Atlanta at Mercedes Benz Stadium

Visit the new Falcons Stadium, if it’s ready, and hang out in downtown Atlanta for the weekend.  Take your pick of Saturday games with Georgia State hosting Memphis at the newly converted and renovated Turner Field and Georgia Tech hosting North Carolina at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

cincinnati1Oct 8 – at Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium

In town on Saturday, Cincinatti hosts UCF at Nippert Stadium or head north for Bowling Green playing Miami of Ohio at Yager Stadium. Do you think the college kids have some fun with that name? A little farther away, Maryland visits Columbus for a B1G game athe ‘Shoe or head south for an SEC matchup of Missouri vs Kentucky at Commonwealth Stadium.

tampa_bay1Oct 22 – vs Tampa Bay at Ralph Wilson Stadium

After a bye week, the Bills host Tampa Bay. If you get in early enough on Friday, catch the Sabres at home against the Cancucks at First Niagara Center.

RaidersOct 29 – vs Oakland at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Start your weekend when the Sabres host the Sharks for an early season matchup at the First Niagara Center. Then head over to Orchard Park for a Halloween inspired tailgate.

JetsThursday, Nov 2 – at New York Jets at MetLife Stadium

Buffalo’s only prime-time game of the season – and it’s on the road. Stick around to catch the, I still can’t believe I’m saying this, Big Ten Matchup of Rutgers vs Maryland on Saturday at High Point Stadium in Piscataway. Stay another day and watch MetLife turn blue as the Giants host the Rams on Sunday. Or kick things off with the Bruins vs Rangers across the river at the Garden.

Saints Nov 12 – vs New Orleans at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Can the Bills get revenge for the trip to the Bayou back in 2013? Let’s hope the Bills fans are as hospitable as the Saints fans during our visit to the Crescent City. Start your weekend with the Panthers vs the Sabres on Friday night. You can then make the trip across 90 to see the Syracuse Orange host Wake Forest at the Dome, but why? Spend the time in Buffalo and check out Duff’s and the Anchor Bar.

ChargersNov 19 – at LA Chargers at StubHub Center

This will be the Bills second straight year visiting California and playing in a temporary stadium. If it’s anything like last year, the Bills Mafia will be there in force. Check out the soccer stadium turned NFL stadium at the StubHub Center. USC will host UCLA at the Coliseum not far away on Saturday.  More of a hockey fan? The Panthers visit the Kings at the Staples Center on Saturday as well.

ChiefsNov 26 – at Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium

A game in KC is on my bucket list, but not this year. For those that want to travel over Thanksgiving, you can also pick up the Iowa State vs Kansas State game in Manhattan at Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday.

PatriotsDec 3 – vs New England at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Back home for a the start of a wicked stretch.  With CFB Championships underway, your options are limited.  But hey, a trip to Buffalo to watch them take down the aging Brady is worth the trip anyway, right? And with the Stanley Cup champs in town on Friday, hit First Niagara Center for a matchup of the Pens vs Sabres.

ColtsDec 10 – vs Indy at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Nothing happening except this old AFC East rivalry. Will the Bills be on a playoff run?

DolphinsDec 17 – vs Miami at Ralph Wilson Stadium

Even though Bowl Season is underway in CFB, you won’t find any Bowl games in Western New York.  The Bills end a three-game home stand against Miami. The Sabres are in town in town on Friday night facing off against Carolina at the First Niagara Center.

PatriotsDec 24 – at New England at Gillette Stadium

Can Santa bring a late season upset on the road? Head into Boston for a Saturday afternoon game with the Bruins hosting the Red Wings at the TD Garden.

DolphinsDec 31 – at Miami at Hard Rock Stadium

Closing out the season on the road, the Bills hope for a return to the playoffs.  It doesn’t take much to get the Bills Mafia to head south for this game, but this year should be something special! Head down early to catch the Orange Bowl in the same stadium the night before! The Bills will play at 1pm on the 31st so you’ll have plenty of time to prep for the NYE festivities, but don’t party too much! The next morning, you can make your way to either Tampa or Orlando to catch the Outback Bowl or Citrus Bowl respectively.  The Outback will pair the SEC with the B1G and the Citrus will host the SEC vs the ACC or Notre Dame. Not a bad week to watch football in Florida, but don’t tell that to Russell Salvatore. If you’d prefer hockey while in the heat of south Floriday, check out Montreal vs Florida on Saturday night at BB&T Center instead of the Orange Bowl.

That wraps up another season for the Bills! Which game are you headed to this year? It looks like it might be the LA game for me!

Stop Wondering. Start Wandering!
