#Wandering with the @AZCardinals – 2017

#Wandering with the @AZCardinals! Check out the #Cardinals schedule to see which trip is best!

Take a look at the 2017 Cardinals schedule to see the best options for you to combine games.

Sunday Sep. 10

Lionsat Detroit  Ford Field, Detroit, MI 1:00pm ET

Combine this with a visit to the Big House! Catch Michigan hosting Cincinnati on Saturday. If you prefer, drive a little further to catch the in-state “rivalry” of Western Michigan vs Michigan State. Let’s see if the new WMU Head Coach can pick up where PJ Fleck left off.

Sunday Sep. 17

Coltsat Indianapolis  Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN 1:00pm ET

Start Thursday in Cincy for the Bengals vs Texans game, then hang out for the Reds vs Pirates next door on Friday. Make the short drive to Purdue on Saturday as the Boilermakers host the FIU Panthers. Then close out the week with the Colts vs Cards on Sunday! I’ve got great memories from Lucas Oil Stadium based on my trip there in December when Penn State took down Wisconsin to earn a trip to the Rose Bowl.

Monday Sep. 25

CowboysDallas U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 8:30pm ET

Start your weekend early with the Marlins vs the D-Backs on Thursday and Friday. Head to Tempe for the Oregon vs ASU game on Saturday, then back to watch the series finally with the Marlins on Sunday. If you’d prefer to stay after the game, the Giants are in town vs the Diamondbacks Mon-Wed.

Sunday Oct. 1

49ersSan Francisco U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:05pm ET

Not a good weekend for sports – unless the D-Backs are in the playoffs! The NFC game is the only show in town.

Sunday Oct. 8

Eaglesat Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA 1:00pm ET

For it being CFB season, there’s nothing happening in the area – with the exception of a trip to Annapolis to see Air Force vs Navy.  It may be a 2-1/2 hour drive, but seeing a game between the Academies is certainly on my bucket-list.

Sunday Oct. 15

BuccaneersTampa Bay U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:05pm ET

Catch the Washington Huskies vs the ASU Sun Devils on Saturday, then head to Glendale for the Cards vs Bucs game on Sunday! For you Southern California-based fans, head down to the Old Pueblo to catch UCLA vs UofA on Saturday instead.

Sunday Oct. 22

Ramsat Los Angeles Twickenham Stadium, London, UK 1:00pm ET

A trip to London is a trip unto itself! Unfortunately, the Wandering Spectator doesn’t track non-US football games (yet)!

Sunday Oct. 29

Sunday Nov. 5

49ersat San Francisco Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA 4:05pm ET

Take your pick of Saturday games.  You can stay local with San Jose State hosting San Diego State or drive up the Bay to see Oregon State play at Cal.  My choice? Cal!

Thursday Nov. 9

SeahawksSeattle U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 8:25pm ET

The bad blood between these two team is worth the trip on its own.  But hey, we can hope the Coyotes or Suns are in town to round out the experience. Nothing else happening in town at this point.

Sunday Nov. 19

Texansat Houston NRG Stadium, Houston, TX 1:00pm ET

Maybe the Rockets vs Suns will be in town, otherwise, stay home for this one. The only potential options for CFB are Iowa State at Baylor or UTSA hosting Marshall.

Sunday Nov. 26

JaguarsJacksonville U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:25pm ET

Here’s a great weekend! See the Battle for the Territorial Cup on Saturday in Tempe before catching a rare matchup between these two teams. This is only the 5th match between these two teams and the series is tied at 2.

Sunday Dec. 3

RamsLos Angeles U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:25pm ET

With CFB winding down, no chance at a Saturday game. Maybe bring your sticks and play a round.

Sunday Dec. 10

TitansTennessee U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:05pm ET

The Titans come to town, but nothing else at this point. Come back once the NBA and NHL schedules are released.

Sunday Dec. 17

Redskinsat Washington FedEx Field, Landover, MD 1:00pm ET

Bowl Season starts up, but there’s nothing in the DC area.

Sunday Dec. 24

GiantsNew York Giants U. of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:25pm ET

Stick around for the 26th to catch the Cactus Bowl at Chase Field.

Sunday Dec. 31

Seahawksat Seattle CenturyLink Field, Seattle, WA 4:25pm ET

New Years Eve in Seattle, but nothing else nearby.  Check back after the NHL schedule comes out to see if a trip north of the border can happen.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

That wraps up the Cardinals 2017 schedule.  Any time a game in a unique location such as London is on the schedule, many fans will make that the priority.  Unfortunately, that’s not always possible.  In lieu of that, I like the Michigan trip! What’s your favorite?

Note: Game times/dates for weeks 5-17 are subject to change.
