Here’s a look at the 2018 Miami Dolphins schedule for those planning to travel to see the team this year.  Remember to check back after the NHL and NBA schedules are released for more updates to the events.

Here’s another opportunity for a back-to-back at the Hard Rock with Florida International visiting the U on Satuday before the Gruden brings his Raiders to town on Sunday.  Just down the road, the Marlins host the Reds in a 4-way weekend series starting on Thursday.

Sunday
Sep. 30
new_england1 at New England Patriots
Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA

Head to New England and catch the Yankees vs Red Sox in what will likely be a post-season position battle. While you’re there, catch Temple vs BC on Saturday before the Sunday kickoff against the Evil Empire in Foxborough.

Sunday
Oct. 7
cincinnati1 at Cincinnati Bengals
Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
1:00pm ET
CBS
With the Reds out of the playoffs, you’re only option will be CFB with Tulane visiting Cincinnati.  If you care to travel a bit, the drive to Columbus is worth a trip to a B1G game.  Check out my review of Columbus from last year.

Sunday
Oct. 14
chicago1 Chicago Bears
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
1:00pm ET
FOX
Middle Tennessee visit FIU on Saturday before the Bears vs the Dolphins on Sunday.

Sunday

NRG Stadium, Houston, TX
8:20pm ET
FOX/NFLN
This could be a great weekend for USF fans – but…  You’ll have to stretch your weekend out.  A prime-time match with Houston on Thursday means you’ll have to stick around for the weekend to catch some CFB.  The USF Bulls visit Rice in town Saturday.

Nov. 4
ny_jets1 New York Jets
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
1:00pm ET
CBS
Yet another back-to-back at the Hard Rock with Duke playing Miami on Saturday, then the Jets vs Fins on Sunday.  Another option is FIU hosting FAU on Saturday.

Sunday
Nov. 11
green_bay1 at Green Bay Packers
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
1:00pm ET

A trip to Lambeau is worth it by itself! And good thing, because there’s nothing else happening in the area at this point.

Sunday

BYE
Sunday
Nov. 25
indianapolis1 at Indianapolis Colts
Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
1:00pm ET

About an hour south of Indy you can catch a B1G matchup of Purdue at Indiana. How much more Indiana can you get? If you really want to go crazy, catch some Friday night college football over in Cincy with the Bearcats hosting the East Carolina Pirates.

Sunday
Dec. 2
buffalo1 Buffalo Bills
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
1:00pm ET
CBS
The Bills Mafia will definitely invade south Florida – especially considering it’s an early December game! We’ll have to hope the Heat or Panthers are in town.

Sunday
Dec. 9
new_england1 New England Patriots
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
1:00pm ET
CBS
Another AFC East foe comes to town with Belichick and the Patriots visiting sunny Florida for a late-season matchup.

Sunday
Dec. 16
minnesota1 at Minnesota Vikings
U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
1:00pm ET
CBS
I don’t know many Miami fans that would be willing to leave the cozy confines of Miami to venture into the tundra of Minnesota in mid-December.  Check back to see if the Wolves or Wild are in town.

Sat-Sun
Dec. 22-23
jacksonville1 Jacksonville Jaguars
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL
Time TBA
TV TBA
Back home for Christmas, the Dolphins host in-state rival Jacksonville. Maybe take a trip to the Bahamas on Friday for the Bahamas Bowl.

Sunday
Dec. 30
buffalo1 at Buffalo Bills
New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY
1:00pm ET
CBS
The regular season comes to a close in Buffalo! Will this game a battle for playoff spot or a draft pick? If you’re planning a trip to Buffalo, you should check out their new “Wing Trail” to sample some of the world’s finest wings. Also check back after the NHL schedule is released to see if the Sabres are in town.
