Wandering with the Giants – 2019

With Saquon Barkley proving his worth, is this the year you hit the road to cheer on the Giants? Whether home at MetLife or on the road, why not combine events to make it a great sports weekend?

Here’s a look at the upcoming schedule and other nearby events – helping you to plan your trip to maximize your travel dollar and your fun!

2019 New York Giants Schedule

Sep. 8at Dallas Cowboys

Catch some college football on Saturday to kickoff the season with North Texas visiting SMU. Then get ready to crank things up with this heated rival in Week 1 on Sunday afternoon.
Sep. 15Buffalo Bills

Head into the city for some MLB with the Dodgers visiting the Mets on Saturday then settle in to see the Bills and Josh Allen take on the Giants.
Sep. 22at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Red Sox visit the Rays Fri-Mon, then the Yankees come to St. Pete on Tuesday!
Sep. 29Washington Redskins

Another chance to see some season-ending MLB with the Braves visiting the Mets Fri-Sun, then the Skins visit for another early season division game.
Oct. 6Minnesota Vikings

Just down the road, Maryland visits Rutgers on Saturday, then the Vikings enter MetLife on Sunday. Up in West Point, Army takes on Tulane on Satuday. For hockey, Winnepeg visits the Rangers on Thursday and the Devils on Friday.

Oct. 10at New England Patriots

A Thursday night game against the aging Brady Bunch is worth the trip alone. Stick around for the Devils at Bruins on Saturday if you care.
Oct. 20Arizona Cardinals

The B1G  features Rutgers hosting Minnesota on Saturday (most likely a day game) and then the Canucks visit the Devils on Saturday night. On Sunday, the Cards come to town.  Will Kyler Murray be their starter?  If you care, stick around to see MetLife turn from blue to green as the Jets host the Pats on Monday night.
Oct. 27at Detroit Lions

There are plenty of options this weekend in Detroit.  Start your weekend on Friday with the Sabres at Red Wings. For football on Saturday, you have your choice between Penn State at Michigan State or Notre Dame at Michigan. Or for Basketball, the Sixers vs Pistons. On Sunday, start your day with the Giants vs Lions then cap it off with the Wings vs Blues just after the game.
Nov. 4Dallas Cowboys

Monday Night Football comes to MetLife!  The stars shine brightest when on the big stage. Watch Saquon tear up the Cowboys defense. If you’re in town early, start with the Devils vs Flyers Friday night. On Sunday, head into Manhattan for the Kings vs Knicks.
Nov. 10at New York Jets

If it’s not too late for fall colors, head up to West Point for the Army vs UMass game on Saturday. Then watch as the Giants “visit” MetLife. If you’re brave, head into the city after the game to catch the Cavs vs the Knicks at 7:30pm.
Nov. 17 BYE

Nov. 24at Chicago Bears

The Heat visit the Bulls on Friday night and Minnesota visits Northwestern on Saturday. Then catch the main course as the Giants take on da Bears on Sunday.

.
Dec. 1Green Bay Packers

The Packers comes to town! Will their new coach have them rolling? Start the weekend in NY with a double-header. The Celtics take on the Nets at 12pm over in Brooklyn then the Sixers vs the Knicks at MSG at 7:30pm. On Saturday, take your pick.  Head to Jersey for some NHL with the Devils hosting the Rangers or watch Barclay’s transform into an NHL arena to see the Islanders take on Columbus.
Monday Dec. 9at Philadelphia Eagles

The first season matchup against the Eagles comes awfully late! Sad to say, but I’m not sure you’ll want to wear your colors for this one. Here’s your chance to catch a unique two-sport double-header in the same venue.  On Saturday, the Flyers host the Senators at 1pm before Wells Fargo is converted back to basketball for the Sixers vs Cavs on Saturday night.
Dec. 15Miami Dolphins

If the Army/Navy game is on your bucket list, maybe this is the year.  Head down 95 to watch this classic rivalry before the Dolphins swim north and try to compete in the cold weather. Stick around for Monday night’s matchup of the Rangers vs the Predators at the Garden.
Dec. 22at Washington Redskins

The Lightning visit the Caps on Saturday night.  Not your thing? You can always tour our Nation’s Capital before the game on Sunday.
Dec. 29Philadelphia Eagles

The Giants close out the year at home against the Eagles. You have three options on Friday night.  In the NHL, the Devils host the Leafs in Newark and the Rangers host Carolina. My recommendation? Catch the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium.

Where will you be wandering?

Stop wondering. Start Wandering!
