Wandering with the Seahawks – 2019

Are you planning to hit the road and cheer for your Seahawks this year?  Whether home or away, we’ve compiled nearby events to help you plan and maximize your travel dollars – and fun!

Let’s take a look at the 2019 schedule to see what other events we can take in before or after the Hawks game.

2019 Seattle Seahawks Schedule

Sep. 8Cincinnati Bengals

There might be a few Bengal fans in the house for opening weekend considering the Reds start a series with the Mariners on Tuesday. But kickoff your weekend with the Huskies hosting Cal in an early PAC12 game.
Sep. 15at Pittsburgh Steelers

You might want to take in some College Football on Saturday, but you’ll have to travel.  State College will be crazy with Pitt in town for the last of their 4-game series (with no renewal in sight). Down in Morgantown, West Virginia will host NC State.

After the game on Sunday, take the day to tour around the Steel City before the Mariners start a series with the Pirates.  PNC is one of the best parks in the country!
Sep. 22New Orleans Saints

The Saints come to town on Sunday and the Astros visit the Mariners starting on Tuesday.
Sep. 29at Arizona Cardinals

Check out the Arizona desert this week and the temps start to cool down.  The NL West pennant might be on the line as the Padres visit the D-Backs in a season-ending series Friday-Sunday.
Oct. 3Los Angeles Rams

Back home at CenturyLink and it’s the only game in town.  Who cares? It’s a Thursday night game! Primetime games always bring extra excitement.
Oct. 13at Cleveland Browns

Catch some MAC action as Kent State visits Akron on Saturday before watching two of the league’s smallest QBs battling it out. While there, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a “must-see”.
Oct. 20Baltimore Ravens

Great weekend of football with Oregon vs Washington on Saturday before the Hawks take on the Ravens on Sunday. This is only the 6th meeting between these two teams with Seattle hoping to expand their lead in the 3-2 series record.
Oct. 27at Atlanta Falcons

Take in the Troy vs Georgia State game on Saturday, then hit the College Football Hall of Fame. Then step into MB Stadium on Sunday to experience one of the league’s newest venues – just don’t expect to get Chik-Fil-A.
Nov. 3Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Back home again after crisscrossing the country the past few weeks, the Bruce Arians’ led Bucs come to town.  Warm up with Utah vs U-Dub on Saturday.
Nov. 11at San Francisco 49ers

Another primetime game, this time on Monday Night. If plans allow, catch the Cougars at Cal on Saturday, then spend some time touring on Sunday.
Nov. 17 BYE

Nov. 24at Philadelphia Eagles

Another trip across the country and a visit to the Linc. Just up I-95, Rutgers takes on Michigan State in a season-ending B1G battle. You might as well do a Cheesesteak Crawl while you’re there.  Check out Pat’s, Geno’s, Jim’s, Tony Luke’s and more and be sure to report back your findings.
Dec. 2Minnesota Vikings

Catch the Apple Cup on Friday and spend the weekend recuperating before yet another Monday Night matchup with the Vikings!
Dec. 8at Los Angeles Rams

The NFL is expecting big things from Seattle this year with another primetime game. They take on the division rival Rams on Sunday night. Maybe the Clips, Lakers, Kings or Ducks will be in town too.
Dec. 15at Carolina Panthers

Welp, you guessed it.  Another cross-country trip, this time to Carolina. Maybe that’s why the league gave them so many primetime games. Maybe the Hornets will be in town.
Dec. 22Arizona Cardinals

Back home as they prepare to close out the season with back-to-back division games. With Christmas coming up, you might have already blown your budget earlier in the year.
Dec. 29San Francisco 49ers

The NFL sure knows how to keep things interesting by scheduling these division games at the end of the season.  There’s nothing else happening in the area – except New Year’s Eve!

Where will you be wandering this year?

Stop wondering. Start wandering!
