Wandering with the Bills – 2020

The Bills are for real. Even the league believes in them this year as evidenced by scheduling them for four prime time games – two and home and two on the road. I can’t recall the last time the Bills hosted two home prime time games.

Josh Allen has been exciting (and nerve-wracking at times) to watch. After making the playoffs two of the last three years, the Bills are ready to go deeper into January football and make a run towards February. Will you be there to support them? Let’s take a look at their schedule to see if you can catch some other action on your travels.

2020 Buffalo Bills Schedule

Sep. 13NY JetsNew York Jets New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

Start the season with some CFB as the UB Bulls take on St Francis on Saturday.

Sep. 20at Miami Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL 1:00pm ET

UAB visits the “U” on Thursday night. Maybe you can catch Jim Kelly on the sidelines.

Sep. 27Los Angeles Rams New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

Nothing else happening at the moment.

Oct. 4Las Vegas Raidersat Las Vegas Raiders Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, NV 4:25pm ET

The Bills will play in the brand new Allegiant Stadium! What else do you need to justify a trip to Vegas? Ticket prices will be sky high, but it’s only a couple of black chips.

Oct. 11at Tennessee Titans Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN 1:00pm ET

Take in an SEC game on Saturday with Ole Miss visiting Vandy, then takeover Nashville again on Sunday!

Oct. 15Kansas City Chiefs New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 8:20pm ET

The Ralph will be rockin’ on Thursday night! Stick around for the weekend to catch Kent State at UB.

Oct. 25NY Jetsat New York Jets MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ 1:00pm ET

Nebraska visits Rutgers on Saturday in a Big Ten matchup. For even more NFL, start down in Philly on Thursday night with the Eagles hosting the Giants.

Nov. 1New England Patriots New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

The Brady-less Pats come to Orchard Park for the first time in an eon. Be there to welcome them 🙂

Nov. 8Seattle Seahawks New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

The Seahawks visit New Era on Sunday and the Bulls will host Mami (OH) on Tuesday.

Nov. 15at Arizona Cardinals State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ 4:05pm ET

A trip to the desert in mid-November will likely draw the Bills Mafia. If the team comes into Glendale with a record of 7-2 or better, I’d expect a flood of visitors.

Nov. 29LA ChargersLos Angeles Chargers New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

Not much happening as the college football season winds down. Maybe the Sabres will be in town.

Dec. 7at San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA 8:15pm ET

Monday in the Bay Area! This one should be exiting as the Bills visit the reigning NFC Champs!

Dec. 13Pittsburgh Steelers New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 8:20pm ET

Back to back prime time games with the Steelers coming into town. Again, with the playoffs shaping up, I’d expect a crazy atmosphere in Buffalo this weekend.

Dec. 20at Denver Broncos Broncos Stadium at Mile High, Denver, CO Time TBA

This game could be either Saturday or Sunday. If you’re lucky, the Nuggets or Avs will be in town. Wouldn’t it be great if the NHL planned their schedule to put the Sabres in town too? Why don’t the league do more of that type of planning.

Dec. 28at New England Patriots Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA 8:15pm ET

How great will it be if the Bills can clinch AND knock the Pats out of the playoffs in their own stadium? Check back for NBA an NHL schedules.

Jan. 3Miami Dolphins New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY 1:00pm ET

January 3rd in Buffalo. Unless you live there, I don’t expect you to travel there. By now, the team will have the playoffs locked up and seeding set so hopefully they can rest their starters.

I know I’ll be catching them in Phoenix. If I’m lucky, I’ll score some decent tickets to Vegas and maybe throw in a work trip to catch them in San Francisco.

Where will you be wandering with the Bills?

Stop wondering. Start wandering!
